Research and Spiritual Quest*
His intellectual pursuits began in Delhi at the *Institute of Objective Studies, on 2006 where he served as a research assistant to the renowned ‘Tamil Mamani’ Dr. J. Rajamohammed. This period marked the beginning of a profound spiritual odyssey. Alongside mentors and scholars like Thoppil Mohamed Meeran, Parvez Mohammed Dayal, Kumari Abubakar Sahib and Venkitapati Suraj Rao he traversed the landscapes of Thakkala, Tenali, Nagapattinam, Tiruvannamalai, Kundapura, Ajmer, Gujarat, Bijnor, Kashmir, Kashi, and the remote villages of Karnataka, Andhrapradesh, W Bengal, Orissa and Rajasthan in search of *Sufi wisdom.
He has dedicated years to chronicling the lives and legacies of nearly 200 dervishes, including:

- Kunangudi Mastan
- Mastan Vali
- Maideen Mastan Sahib
- Thoodani Mastan
- Kaviyar Nizamali
- Ammajan Haq Haidari Yusufi etc.
Professional & Literary Contributions
A seasoned educator and editor, IUB has served as a teacher and headmaster at various institutions in Valambur, Chavakkad, Kunnakkavu, Vengoor, Karingannad, Kottakkal, and Puthanathani. His editorial footprint extends across prestigious platforms such as Yuvasarani, Madhyamam, Malarvadi, Kalaignar TV, Vellaramkallu.com, Darshana TV, Harithakam, Manas Foundation, Media City, and the Read Welfare Foundation.
As a prolific scholar and creative, his contributions include:
- Academic Support: Guided over 70 research projects for students within and outside Kerala.
- Key Publications: Renowned for his research on the mystic Icha Mastan and a significant research paper on the freedom fighter *Kadaikkal Pulavar Moideenkutty Haji.
Now also he published a world famous novel named ; Soccer Darvish
His former two novels in malayalam also very viral among the readers.
- Murivukalude Mehfil (The mehfil of wounds: it’s about the real stories of India and Pakistan division)
- Melvilasam Nashtapettavar (The people who lost their address – it’s about the stories of the invasion of Israel on Palestine and Lebanon. This novel came in Arabic by Darul Nashr, Cairo – Egypt)
- Editorial Work: Editor of over 250 books.
- Creative Arts: Actively involved in theatre, cinema, and advertising. He continues to direct plays and visual impact shows and serves as a curator for street art, wall art, and “beauty spot” making.
Current Life and Philosophy*
Following a battle with liver cancer in 2018 and a subsequent liver transplant in 2020, Salahudheen has transitioned into a more contemplative life. He now focuses his energy on writing, songwriting, musical analysis, and spiritual introspection. A traveler and orator at heart, he is a follower of the Dasuqi Sufi Order under the guidance of Late Shaikh Mukhtar Ali Mohammed al-Dasuqi* (Egypt).
He finds solace in Sufism, music, solitary travel, and the study of mysticism.
